Meta-aramid Needle Felt

Aramid is a man-made high-performance fiber, with molecules characterized by relatively rigid polymer chains. Meta-aramid felt is a class under aramid felt. Meta-aramid fibers do not ignite, melt, or drip. They retain their mechanical properties at elevated temperatures. 

Even though meta-aramid fibers have higher tensile strength and lower thermal conductivity than many fire-resistant fibers, they are soft to handle and process similarly to conventional fibers.

Our meta-aramid felt is made up of several polymer fibers such as Nomex®. Available finishes include calendared and singed.

Partial rolls refer to material cut from a master roll in yard increments. Minimum order quantities apply to partial rolls.
