Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) Needle Felt

Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) fibers are high-performance, semi-crystalline fibers. They offer exceptional chemical and thermal stability, high dimensional stability, and low moisture absorption. They also demonstrate high hydrolysis resistance when exposed to acids, alkalis, and organic (corrosive) solvents.

Further advantages are high energy absorption, low creep tendency, high dimensional stability, and fatigue resistance. PPS has a melting point of about 285° C and retains its properties when used continuously up to 190° C.

PPS plastics also exhibit outstanding mechanical properties, inherent electrical insulation, and high resistance to heat and flames.
