85 Duro EPDM (SCR)
Description
SCR is a mixture of CR (Chloroprene Rubber) and SBR (Styrene-Butadiene Rubber). CR offers better resistance to heat, oil, weathering; while SCR offers abrasion resistance.
On the durometer scale (0 = softest, 100 = hardest), an 85 rating means this material is very hard, dense, and durable. It has excellent resistance to abrasion along with improved performance against heat, weathering, and moderate oils.
Its toughness and broad resistance range make SCR a cost-effective choice for demanding industrial applications such as gaskets, seals, pads, and protective components exposed to wear, pressure, or outdoor conditions.
Application
Bushing, bumpers, O-rings, screen printing squeegees, gaskets, seals.
