BISCO® Solid Silicone

We are official major converters of Rogers Corporation. Solid silicone foam is a dense rubber with no cells, or a solid form of silicone. It is durable with high tear strength, and long-term resiliency. This makes it an excellent material for tough environments.

There are three types of solid silicone foams: Performance grade, Aerospace and Military specification grade, and Medical grade.

BISCO® Performance Grade Silicone

The HT-6000 series is a performance silicone designed for high demand gasketing. The series has soft to firm grades with special characteristics such as fire safety, softness, and tight tolerances. They are available in Durometer, Shore A of 10 – 65.

BISCO® Aerospace and Military Grade Silicone

The HT-1200 series has general purpose solid silicones. They are firm in nature and resistant to high temperatures, tears, and most fluids. They have a range of Durometer, Shore A rating from 40 –75. They are compliant with A-A-59588 Class 2 A/B, AMS 3301-3305, FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, and NSF 51.

BISCO® Medical Grade Silicone

The MS-1600 series has been specifically engineered to meet the demands of medical life science applications. The high-performance materials deliver mission critical reliability. This series has materials that are chemically inert, non-toxic, thermally robust, and environmentally stable.
