HT-1500 Press Pad Silicone Rubber

The HT-1500 silicone press pad is a coated fiberglass between two layers of silicone rubber. It is the top choice for press pads and high strength gaskets.
When building circuit boards, individual layers must be fused together using a lamination press. A press pad is the cushioning material between the circuit and the metal press plates.
The HT-1500 silicone rubber equalizes the pressure applied to panel surfaces. Its reinforced silicone rubber composite is designed to be durable and resist tearing. It can also be layered between multiple individual boards, saving time and energy.
The fiberglass provides dimensional stability as the press pad is subjected to temperatures above 350°F (177°C) and pressures above 350 psi.
It replaces less durable press pad materials such as single-use Kraft paper.
